Annual Meeting Highlights

Athena Award 
The Richland Area Chamber of Commerce is the new home for the ATHENA Award, which has been awarded in Richland County since 1989 by the TWIN (A Tribute to Women & Industry) Committee. Finalists for the 2016 ATHENA Award, sponsored by Richland Bank, include:
Mary Bolin - owner of My Town Partners,
Liz Prather - Executive Director/Superintendent of Richland County Board of Developmental Disabilities as well as Richland Newhope
Melanie Riggleman - Manufacturing Manager, The Gorman Rupp Company and Executive Director of the Regional Manufacturing Coalition

Extraordinary Leadership Awards 
The Extraordinary Leadership Award is given to those who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership that goes well above and beyond their daily work responsibilities in a project or effort.

​Honoring the memory and contributions of former Mayor, Ed Meehan

The Chamber will also be unveiling their new logo.
 
The dinner will be held on Thursday, January 28^th at the Kehoe Center in Shelby. A cocktail hour kicks off at 5:30pm and dinner, which is being catered by Ed Pickens Café on Main, will be served at 6:30pm.  The early bird ticket price of $40 is being extended through Thursday, January 21, 2016.
