Grief 101 presentation

Agrace Hospice & Palliative Care has hired Richland Center resident Colleen Pulvermacher, MS, Certified Grief Support Specialist, to supplement Agrace’s community grief support programs in Richland and Sauk counties. As community grief specialist, Pulvermacher will lead Agrace’s local grief support offerings, including two upcoming events that will be held at the Richland Hills Apartment Complex Community Room: • Grief 101, a presentation that will cover common reactions to grief and suggestions for coping. This event will take place Thursday, May 18, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required. • Grief support group series for adults who are grieving the death of a spouse or partner. The group will meet on Thursdays, June 1, 8 and 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This group is free and open to the public, however pre-registration is required.
