A non-partisan program created by the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development to inform an educate individuals who are considering running for local office.
- 3 part training sessions
- Presentations by state and local political experts, elected officials, and community leaders
- Open to everyone
Session 2, Thursday, May 4th
Join us for a conversation with party officials to disscuss and learn about the following:
- How did you become involved in your respective party
- How does the party structure works – how often do you meet, how would someone become involved?
- Share a little about the role Central Committee plays, how someone gets on that, etc.
- What’s the best advice you have for someone who is thinking about running for office?
- What is the process for endorsements?
- There are often affiliated groups – ie. Young Professionals, Women’s – How do they interact with the larger party?
