Step Into Spring walk

Richland Newhope/Richland County Board of Developmental Disabilities (RCBDD), in collaboration with Richland Public Health, the Mansfield Y, and the Richland Mall, presents “Step into Spring” – a walking event on Thursday, March 22 at the Richland Mall. This is one of several activities taking place in March to mark Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. “Step into Spring” is free for everyone and there is no required walking distance, although participants will be encouraged to do at least two laps inside the mall or the equivalent of one mile. The first 100 people to register the day of the event will receive a ‘goodie bag.’ Registration will start at 10 a.m. with the walk beginning at 10:30 a.m. In addition to the walk, the participating agencies and several providers of services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families will have information tables and be available to answer questions.
